Tallysman Wireless Launches the TW125 and TW126, 1.2 to 1.8 GHz 25dB Inline Amplifiers

Ottawa, Canada, April 19th , 2010 – Tallysman Wireless Inc., a leading provider of high performance, high quality RF and GNSS components, and wireless Telematics solutions, today announces the release of the TW125 and TW126, 1.2 to 1.8GHz 25 dB gain inline amplifiers.

The TW125 and TW126 are industrial grade/waterproof, highly linear inline amplifiers, specially designed to amplify signals in the Lband, including GNSS (GPS, Galileo and GLONASS) and SBAS (Omnistar, StarFire, WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS and DGPS systems). These provide for much longer cable runs from antenna to receiver without degradation of system sensitivity, for applications such as mast-mount, large vehicle and timing systems.

TW125: Low Current - low loading onto GNSS receivers. Output 1dB:-10dB, OIP3:5dBm, 3 to 12VDC, 25mA
TW126: Mid Power - Ideal for GNSS re-radiators. Output 1dB:10dB, OIP3:20dBm, 4.74 to 12VDC, 50mA

These Inline amps allow the DC to pass directly from input to output to support centre conductor DC supply to the antenna, and so avoid the need for an additional bias source or bias T. They come enclosed in a robust cylindrical chromed-nickel brass weatherproof housing (IP67 compliant) and are available with SMA and TNC female connectors.
